 STORY OF SEASONS: PIONEERS OF OLIVE TOWN

PROLOGUE

In the past, your grandpa and his friends develop a town namely Olive town and he was proudly talking about the ranch life there. You, inspired by this story, are thinking that you will someday live in that town. So you packed your bags and headed to Olive town.

But.... alas, when you arrived at the town, your grandpa's ranch is all deserted and covered with forest.

With the help of the mayor, you are determined to revive the large ranch.

Personal opinion: It seems like a pretty usual background story for me, so this is really nothing special according to the story.

GAMEPLAY

Building the farm from scratch.

You can open up the forest, collect the materials to restore various facilities to live comfortable life.

You can mine and fish at the coasts.

To start your farm though, you will find crops in the forest and culivate it on your pastures, and raised.

Personal opinion: Since you will open a vast forest to be your own farm again, I will expect something like open-world game but farming. So it will be a priceless experience.

RANCH ANIMALS

Well... I could see... angora rabbits, goats maybe? cows, sheeps, black cow? buffalo? or carabao? dogs, chickens, and the classic horses.

(put it with 's' because I don't know whether we can purchase one or not.)

CHARACTER MAKING

You will be making more customized character!

MARRIAGE CANDIDATES

You can perform same sex marriage through.. something like confidante.

This Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is supposedly released on 23rd March 2021 on Nintendo Switch.

CONCLUSION

Personally, I love the open world-farming game system and it is exciting! The graphic is a bit similar with Harvest Moon: Light of Hope and that's it. If you are not a fan of the graphic, at least try to enjoy the gameplay since it will be different. I don't know about the price also, I expect something considerate since the previous Light of Hope is a bit pricey for something kinda shocking in graphic term. ALSO! I'm kinda reluctant on buying because one small detail is missing from here: they don't put the portraits around the dialogue box! So it's a bit disappointing.

I'm gonna take it into consideration too if they decide to release this game on PC since I don't have nintendo switch xD
