Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: 1st Love

 



A dating sim video game called Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side (also known as Girl's Side or Tokimeki Memoriaru Girl's Side) was released on June 20, 2002 by Konami for the PlayStation 2 gaming system. On February 15, 2007, it was also re-released with improvements for the Nintendo DS as Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: 1st Love. Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: Second Kiss, Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: Third Story, and Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: Fourth Heart are its three follow-ups. The Tokimeki Memorial series, which began in 1994 as a dating sim geared toward men, includes Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side.



The main character of the game attends the made-up Habataki High School, which is situated in the made-up city of Habataki. Due of her parents' jobs, the main character had to go away for a while, however she had previously lived in Habataki. While maintaining a typical high school schedule of coursework, extracurriculars, and part-time employment, it is also possible to develop friends with boys who can propose on your graduation day.


Male Characters

Kei Hazuki (Hikaru Midorikawa)
Hazuki, the primary male character, is a model, an honor student, and a standout athlete. He may have very high expectations for a girlfriend as a result, making him a hard target. Despite his outward coldness, he has a warm side that comes through in his obsession with cats. A German stained glass window craftsman is his granddad. Despite Hazuki's propensity for dozing off during tests, he consistently receives top marks. Although it seems like he doesn't have many friends, Morimura has been a friend of his since junior high school.

Sakuya Morimura (Akira Ishida)
Despite being the only child of a doctor, he aspires to become a botanist since he is fascinated by flora. His father disagrees with him because of the way he thinks and the ambitions he has for the future, and his mother doesn't reside with them. He frequently provides explanations on physics and is quite knowledgable about many different issues. He enjoys playing video games, and he gets along well with many individuals, including Ikkaku Amanohashi and Reiichi Himuro. He is a huge gamer.

Kazuma Suzuka (Nobuyuki Hiyama)
Suzuka is your standard jock. He has been a regular at the basketball club since the start of the first year, and his goal is to receive a basketball scholarship to study in the United States. Despite his great talent, he struggles to play on a team. Together with Madoka Kijo, he attends after-school lessons, and the two occasionally play video games.

Madoka Kijo (Rytar Okiayu)
Kijo is a young man with dark skin who was born in the Kansai region. He now lives alone because his father and he did not get along when his mother was alive. He prepares meals for himself and even makes the protagonist an Obento. After graduation, he wants to work as a "freeter," although he also seems interested in finding a job. Madoka enjoys riding motorcycles and cooking a lot. He is good buddies with Suzuka and Morimura. Due of his poor behavior and grades, he frequently has run-ins with Himuro. Due to his part-time position at an oil station, he does not join in any clubs.

Shiki Mihara (Shin-ichiro Miki)
He is regarded as a creative talent and both of his parents are well-known artists. His artwork is shown in the museum. He belongs to the artists club. He is extremely egocentric but also compassionate and sincere, and he appreciates beauty in both nature and art. He likes roller coasters and bungee jumping.

Reiichi Himuro (Takehito Koyasu)
The player's homeroom teacher, is feared by his pupils, according to Reiichi Himuro (). He owns a Maserati and enjoys driving. Himuro is a math teacher. He has a gruff, serious demeanor, and the pupils speculate that he was created as an android in the church basement. Despite this, he has a soft side that comes out when he sleeps in, drives too fast, or attends various events that his bartender friend organizes. He enjoys watching scary movies. Since the kanji may represent "ice room zero one," his name is kind of a pun.

Wataru Hibiya (Kappei Yamaguchi) 
Hibiya is in the same grade as the main character, but they won't be able to interact until the second year. He admires Kei Hazuki and wants to live a wonderful life. He even makes an attempt to emulate him, but fails miserably. He appears to have dreams of playing professional baseball and being married to a female announcer. He and Suzuka both enjoy watching professional wrestling videos together. He belongs to the baseball team.

Ikkaku Amanohashi (Jurota Kosugi)
Amanohashi is the school's board of trustees chairman who aspires to raise the ideal woman. He invites the students to his regular Christmas party at his home because he is wealthy. He is a close buddy of Goro Hanatsubaki, a fashion designer. It has been implied that Hazuki's grandfather knows his father. He played a key role in Kijo's enrollment in the institution.

Chiharu Aoki (Showtaro Morikubo)
 Aoki is a hidden character. He accidentally sends the main character an email, and they then begin communicating. He is an exchange student from America who first struggles to speak Japanese. Through his emails, his Japanese gradually gets better. He is a member of the computer club and attends Kirameki High, the original Tokimeki Memorial school. He has a good disposition. He frequents the mall and might unintentionally run across the main character there.

Jin Tendo (Soichiro Hoshi)
The second hidden character is Tendo, who is a unique character of the Nintendo DS version. By coincidence, he runs into the main character. His grades have significantly dropped in high school despite the fact that they improve after studying with the main character, even though he was a top student in junior high. He attends Hanegasaki High, which served as the setting for Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: 2nd Kiss.

Goro Hanatsubaki (Sho Hayami) 
A well-known fashion designer is Goro. He is Amanohashi's pal. He is notorious for his trademark snake dance and is highly quirky.


Female Characters

Shiho Arisawa (Yukana)
Shiho excels in the classroom and is a student of honor. She is incredibly helpful but yet comes out as a little chilly and aloof. She likes to write poems and feels self-conscious about her height. She works part-time at a flower shop and harbors feelings for Morimura. If the main character starts dating him, she switches from being a friend to a rival. She wants to pursue a legal education at a prestigious university. She does poorly in sports and skips the sporting events. In Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: 2nd Kiss, she makes a second appearance while still a university student and employed at the same flower shop.

Natsumi Fujii (Tomoko Kawakami)
 Fujii is a vivacious and impulsive young lady. She is the kind of person that takes action before thinking. She is Himuro's natural foe and frequently tries to trick him. She participates in the cheerleading team and works occasionally at a fast food joint. She is smitten with Kijo. The main character becomes his rival if she dates him.

Tamami Konno (Omi Minami)
Konno has a reserved and reserved personality, according to Tamami Konno's CV. When she was in junior high school, she held the swimming record. She has a younger sibling who attends the same school as Tsukushi and can be found in the third volume. The basketball team's manager, Konno, is good friends with Suzuka. Suzuka becomes the main character's rival if they start dating.


Other Characters

Tsukushi (Ai Orikasa)
Tsukushi is the main character's younger brother. Although he may be a little arrogant at times, he is concerned about his sister and will provide information about potential love interests. It is possible to visit him on free days.

Garçon Ito (Kōichi Kitamura)
Ito is Mizuki Sudo's butler. He has taken care of her since she was small and is very emotionally attached to her.

Yoshihito Masuda (Masaaki Ōkura)
Masuda is a close friend of Reiichi Himuro from their student days who runs a Jazz bar. Although he appears only on a few occasions, he is a very popular character to the point of being the only secondary character to have inspired a Japanese phone card.

Church boy (Ayaka Saitō)
A boy the main character remembers from her childhood.
